Turkmen weaving is both highly collectable and invigorating. The various Turkmen tribes of Central Asia are known for their elaborate and often rigid social structures, the paradigms of which are reflected in their weaving.
Areas of sever low pile, please look for each picture. Unequal fringes which show coloration from the rug dye while being washed.
