Antique Persian Heriz rug with a striking all-over geometric serrated leaf tribal design. Crisp clear colors from vegetable dyes, abrash, and a nice worn patina.
Size: 7'3"x10'9"
Age: 1940s
Origin: Heriz, Northwest Persia
Materials: Hand-knotted handspun wool pile on cotton foundation. Natural dyes.
Condition: Good, but well-used condition. Most of the rug has even low pile, but there are localized areas of strong wear as shown. Losses at the end. Ready to enjoy?
